We.APP Young Artists Academy (YAA) students across six schools will compete to create a brave new movement of voices dedicated to truth and liberation on Saturday, May 6th, 10:30am - 1pm at South Shore PK - 8.

We.APP (We Act. Present. Perform.) is a public speaking company dedicated to teaching adults and youth ages 11-18 how to speak with purpose.

The We.APP Young Artists Academy (YAA) is a social justice elective offered in schools that integrates performance art and public speaking as a life skill to help youth focus and develop self-confidence

We.APP provides YAA programming in three school districts throughout the Greater Puget Sound region.  The program cultivates leadership through writing, speaking and presenting. YAA provides an in-school platform that inspires young scholars to write powerful narratives that captures their deepest feelings and aspirations. These narratives combat silence to promote literacy and inclusion which are critical towards disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline.
